Finding Your Spouse in College

I agree with this. College is the best place to find a future wife, or husband.

However, this conflicts with the college program itself. Unless a couple is the same age, one will graduate before the other, probably the man since women prefer men a little older. This means that the woman must quit college, to follow her man somewhere. This was actually pretty common in the 1950s and 1960s, when women commonly quit college if they got married. Mission accomplished!

This made some sense in the 1950s and 1960s, when college was not so expensive as today, and also, the people that went to college could afford it. College enrollment was a lot lower then than now, limited to the upper middle class.

For me personally, it was not that hard to find a future wife. But, it would have been very hard to find a wife similar to the girls that I went to college with — basically Top 1% girls, in terms of intelligence and the other sorting factors for top colleges, that still had most of the pleasant virtues they did when they were 20. Today, more than in the past, I have some regret that I did not have children with a High-IQ woman. My own wife is average at best regarding IQ (probably below 100), and our son is a little above average (about 115). I knew some 140+ IQ women, who I probably could have married. That would have been interesting. But, my own wife is still a rather good wife, probably in the Top 10% of wives. So, you don’t have to be all that smart to be good wife. Many high-IQ women are bad wives, if they ever get a chance to be wives.

Today, I think that the High IQ women in particular should plan on having a large number of children with a High IQ man. If you are so lucky, at least four. Then stay home and homeschool them. Any High IQ woman is going to be an exemplary homeschooler. (Homeschooling largely consists of doing what High IQ kids did voluntarily when in school, which is, read a lot of books.)

Most high-IQ women are not that attractive. They tend to be Mid at best; and also, they often do not prioritize clothing, makeup and that sort of thing. Sometimes they get kinda chubby from all the sedentary studying. If you are one of these women, then you should make a serious effort at least in dress and presentation (you don’t need makeup), plus diet (food quality) and exercise.

So, if you happen to be a High IQ woman, remember that you can and should devote a little effort to such things. Just be like Cindy Crawford (IQ reportedly 154):

I suggest also today that these high-achieving high-IQ girls not only find a future husband at college, but also, remain a virgin before marriage. Actually this is not so hard to do, since many college girls are actually virgins, particularly at the better schools. Since this kind of high-IQ girl also has a strong long-term focus and impulse control, not surprisingly, they are also virgins. Nearly 76% of all Freshmen women at Harvard are virgins.

Since you will probably get married right after graduation anyway, you won’t be waiting that long. If your future husband is a year or two older, then get formally engaged (wear a ring), and finish your studies while he is off somewhere else. Then get married immediately afterwards.

For men, you don’t really need to be able to support a family to get married. You can just get married. Two young people, just out of college, can both work and live more cheaply than one alone. You can also travel if you like. You can go here and there, and instead of whoring with someone you meet along the way, you can just have sex with your husband.

If you find a splendid sort of girl in college, why not just marry her? You won’t find anything better later.
